WOODBRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Woodbridge Fire Department is a public safety agency serving the citizens, businesses and properties of  Woodbridge, New Jersey Fire district #1. We are dedicated to the protection of life and property of our residents and community, and strive to deliver excellence in our commitment to quick and efficient emergency response and fire prevention.

The Departments goal is to provide the residents of Woodbridge with the highest level of service, prepared to respond to any emergency and ready to perform when seconds count. With a total of 41 Career and 16 Volunteer firefighters 14 of those 54 firefighters are EMT’s allowing us to provide full time round-the-clock service to over 20,000 residents and over 1,000 businesses in town.

***BE ADVISED THAT THE WOODBRIDGE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS HAVE SET THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE HOUSE (418 SCHOOL ST., WOODBRIDGE) AS THE SOLE LOCATION FOR VOTING DURING THE ANNUAL FIRE DISTRICT ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2026 FROM 2:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.  REGISTERED VOTERS WHO USED TO VOTE AT THE SEWAREN LIBRARY CAN EITHER VOTE AT THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE HOUSE DURING THIS TIME OR VOTE BY MAIL.  IF VOTING BY MAIL, THE BALLOT MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 9:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 21, 2026 AND CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE POLLING LOCATION.  APPLICATIONS FOR VOTE BY MAIL MUST BE MADE TO THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY CLERKS’ OFFICE IN NEW BRUNSWICK.
